New York, NY - January 8th, 2025 - With reverberant vocals that could flood the room of an opera house, and lyrics that reach the depths of youthful nostalgia, singer-songwriter Nai’a urges listeners to confront their most vulnerable tendencies. “I think that’s what I want people to gain, is the humanity in music again,” says Nai’a. “I always say that my music is imperfectly perfect.” 

 

Nai’a’s upcoming track, “Broken Portraits,” will release on January 24th. This is a song I know so many listeners can see themselves in, the struggle of facing our own reflection. With deep lyrics I felt it was fitting to introduce a dance beat in the production, and combine my usual piano ballad sound with upbeat pop. 

 

The single will be accompanied by a music video, directed by Nai’a and Erynn Wakefield, featuring stunning visuals that bring the song’s story to life.
